George

Hello Everyone

My name is George. I am the Room 8 Listening Gorilla.
I go home every day with the student who has shown exceptional listening in class for that day.

When I am at your home, I am listening and watching. I hope I can participate in everything that goes on in the home that afternoon and evening.
Could you please write a small journal entry as to what I saw and did that evening.

Yours truly,
George

An otter is the greatest pet on earth to have!!! By Sophia

I think that an otter would be an amazing pet to have because they are so cute and do lots of awesome tricks! Just see if you want an otter as a pet after my three excellent reasons

You know how otters can do pretty cool tricks just like humans. So if you have a swimming pool and you don't use it very often, otter will love it ,it would be a dream come true!An otter would be a very good entertainer for family who are visiting. You might even become famous or rich if people give you money for your otters cool tricks. If your otter is good at its tricks,it might even make it into a circus! If your otter becomes so famous,it might even be on TV shows or even on the news!

Otters are very cute indeed,so that means that they will be cute no matter what.Your otter may be so cute that it will make other owners jealous.Your otter may be so adorable that it might win a prize for...the worlds most cutest animal.Otters are not much different to normal pets so you would treat it exactly the same.Otters are one of the only pets who do amazing tricks in the water,so it would be good to have a pet who is different to all the other pets.

Otters give you company when you are lonely or cant sleep at night. It is very nice to have a pet that will not hurt you or hurt anybody else,so that means that if you get a otter it will not be dangerous.Because otters are very small it will cost less money to pay for food or clothes.Otters are very friendly so that you will always have your pet as a friend. If you lose your soft toy and you cant find it ,you can use your otter!

So pleeeeeease can i have an otter as a pet,i've told you my three reasons you just have to believe me! By Sophia

The dead bird skull show

This is the dead bird skull Me/Tremayne,Quincey and Ved found behind the classrooms when we were putting our lunch boxes back into the cloak bay. I made a cracked peanut hat for it but the sad thing is I lost it. Today/Tuesday we brought it back to school to show it for show and tell. We told them to pass it around so they all can see the bird skull. Some people thought it was creepy looking and the others thought it was cool looking.

Shake your tail feathers dance!

I think that our dance was one of the best dances in the entire show because we pretty much entertained the crowd! I felt nervous and excited at the same time! It was a pity how my dad was not able to watch but I still had a great time! The best part of all was, when we all shook our tail feathers, just like the song said. And that's what made it the best part of the night! By Sophia

Seeret Zoo Trip

On Monday the middle school and senior school went to the zoo trip. When we went to the zoo wow I saw so so many animals everywhere. After my group got to look at the animals. My favourite animal is the giraffe because its big. When we saw all the animals we had some tasty, yummy, and healthy morning tea. Then I was walking wow a hippo smelt stinky but it was awesome. Then I got very hungry so we had lunch.Next my group went to the seals. It went really fast I got really scared but it didn't break the glass. Then a adult took us at the red parrots I wish a get to  hold it because its my favourite animal too. After that I saw the monkeys and baboons the little monkey were so so cute and the baboons   looked at my face.Next Dan wanted to look at the spider and my whole group got a photo but it wanes't really a spider but I like spiders.Next we get to see the eels all the eels were small then two came...and fast.My heart thumped so much.Last of all I saw the meercats dig so they can get through. One was really  funny one folded it arms and stood. That made me really laugh. By Seeret

Boss For A Day

If I was boss on Tuesday

In our house,

I would make everyone clean the house. Every speck of dust must be gone, even in Rory's room. There is no backing out till everything is where it should be,so everyone has to participate

Except for .....

Little Rory,
Sweet Rory
Clean and Innocent-for-messes Rory
Darlin' Rory

She can tell all the orders while sitting in a chair fit for a Queen with a big glass with a purple straw of pink lemonade!
